Quentin and I are finally on the road to adopting a little girl to join our family of 5. We have 3 biological daughters, Abbie 7, Lauren 5 1/2, and Reina 6 months old. We have talked about adoption for several years and feel that now is the right time. We will be going to Kazakhstan to find a little girl 6 months to 36 months old. Hopefully we will be traveling this summer! We signed our contract with Adoption Ark on November 1, 2007. Our dossier is almost complete. We need to finish our homestudy, do the FBI fingerprinting and have our medical forms filled out. After the last month and a half of running around collecting documents it will be nice to sit back and relax. (Though I have the feeling that will last all of about a week before we get antsy and decide that waiting is not what we are good at!) We hope to have our dossier submitted by the end of January!! This blog will be our official journal of our journey to find our daughter.
